White shadow, white wave, or fair lady
A variant of Guinevere, which is the French form of the Welsh name Gwenhwyfar. It is composed of the elements 'gwen' meaning white or fair and 'hwyfar' meaning smooth or phantom. In Arthurian legend, she was the beautiful queen of King Arthur.
