Crown or garland
Esteven is a rare variant of Esteban, which is the Spanish form of the Greek name Stephanos. It signifies one who is crowned or honored with a wreath, traditionally awarded to victors in ancient competitions. While less common than its counterparts, it retains a strong, phonetic appeal.
