Eternal ruler
Eryk is a Polish variation of the Old Norse name Eiríkr. It is derived from the elements 'ei' meaning ever or always and 'ríkr' meaning ruler or king. While the 'k' spelling is standard in Poland, it offers a modern, edgy alternative to the classic Eric in English-speaking countries.
