Watchful or vigilant
Derived from the Hebrew name 'Eran, which means watchful, vigilant, or awake. In the Old Testament, Eran was the son of Shuthelah and a grandson of Ephraim, making him the founder of the Eranite clan. It remains a popular choice in modern Israel while remaining rare in the United States.
