A diminutive form of Dustin, which is derived from the Old Norse name ΓΓ³rsteinn, meaning Thor's stone. It is also occasionally used as a nature-inspired nickname referring to a dusty landscape. While traditionally masculine, the 'ie' ending gives it a playful, feminine quality.
