Dragon or precious
Derived from the South Slavic element 'drag' meaning 'dear' or 'precious'. In some contexts, it is also associated with the Latin 'draco', meaning 'dragon' or 'serpent'. It is a common name in Balkan countries but remains rare in the United States.
