Divine or follower of Dionysus
Derived from the Greek word 'dios', meaning 'of Zeus' or 'divine'. In Greek mythology, Dione was a Titaness and the mother of Aphrodite, often associated with the oracle at Dodona. As a masculine name, it can also serve as a diminutive of Dionysius.
