Man-destroyer or she who destroys her husband
Derived from the Greek name Deianeira, it is composed of the elements 'daio' (to destroy) and 'aner' (man). In Greek mythology, Deianeira was the third wife of Heracles, famously known for unintentionally causing his death with a poisoned tunic.
