Deyana is a multi-cultural name with several possible roots. In Slavic traditions, it is often a feminine form of Dejan, meaning 'to act' or 'to do,' while in Latin-based contexts, it is frequently viewed as a variant of Diana, the Roman goddess of the moon and hunting.
