Follower of Demeter
Demetrie is a variant of Demetrius, which is derived from the Greek name Demetrios. It literally means 'follower of Demeter,' referring to the Greek goddess of agriculture, harvest, and the earth. While less common than the spelling Demetri, this version maintains a classic European feel.
