Oak or dark oak
Derived from the Old Irish word 'daire', it is traditionally associated with the oak tree, a symbol of strength and endurance in Celtic culture. In Irish mythology, the name is also linked to Dagda, the god of agriculture and wisdom. It remains a popular choice in Ireland while retaining a rare, distinctive status in the United States.
