Delicate or languid
Dalyla is a modern spelling variant of the Hebrew name Delilah. In the Old Testament, Delilah was a woman of Sorek who was loved by Samson and eventually betrayed him by cutting his hair, the source of his strength. Despite its biblical history, the name has evolved into a popular choice for its melodic sound and soft imagery.
