Knowing, informed, or a drop of water
In Greek mythology, Daira was an Oceanid nymph associated with the city of Eleusis; her name is often linked to the Greek word for 'knowing' or 'teacher'. In Spanish-speaking contexts, it is sometimes used as a variant of Daria, the feminine form of Darius, meaning 'possessing goodness'.
