Moon goddess or woman from Kynthos
Cinda is a diminutive form of Lucinda or Cynthia. As a variant of Cynthia, it refers to Mount Kynthos on the island of Delos, the mythological birthplace of the Greek moon goddess Artemis. It emerged as a standalone name in the mid-20th century but remains quite rare today.
