Joy or happiness
Derived from the Greek word for joy, Chara is a name that embodies a sense of delight and cheer. In Greek mythology, the Charites (Graces) were the goddesses of charm, beauty, and nature, with Chara representing the essence of their spirit. It is also the name of a bright star in the constellation Canes Venatici, representing one of the hunting dogs.
