Blind
A rare variant of Cecilia, derived from the Roman family name Caecilius. The name is historically associated with Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians, who was martyred in the 2nd century. While the literal meaning refers to a lack of sight, it is often interpreted spiritually as being 'blind' to the material world.
