Blind
A rare variant of Cecilia, derived from the Roman family name Caecilius. The name is traditionally associated with Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music, who was martyred in the 3rd century. Its meaning of 'blind' is often interpreted spiritually as being blind to the world but open to God.
