Ceana is a modern anglicized variant of the Scottish Gaelic name Seana, which is the feminine form of Seán. It ultimately derives from the Hebrew name Yochanan, meaning 'God is gracious'. While rare, it offers a contemporary twist on the classic Jane or Joan lineage.
