Young ceremonial attendant or helper
Camella is a variant of Camilla, which originates from the Latin term 'camillus'. In ancient Roman religion, this referred to a youth of noble birth who assisted priests during sacred rituals. It is also frequently associated with the flowering camellia shrub, though the etymologies are distinct.
