Daughter of Briseus
Brizeida is a Spanish variant of Briseis, a name from Greek mythology. In the Iliad, Briseis was a princess of Lyrnessus whose capture by Achilles became a central plot point of the Trojan War. The name has gained some modern usage in Latin American communities as a melodic alternative to more common names.
