Hill or high place
Brinn is a modern variation of the Welsh name Bryn, which literally translates to hill. It reflects a connection to the landscape and elevated terrain of the Welsh countryside. While traditionally masculine in Wales, this spelling variation is almost exclusively used for girls in the United States.
