Prince or little raven
A variant of the Irish name Brendan, derived from the Old Irish word 'brΓ©nainn', which was borrowed from a Welsh word meaning prince. It is also sometimes associated with the Gaelic word for raven. The name was popularized by the 6th-century Saint Brendan the Navigator.
