Broad hillside or salmon
A modern spelling variant of Braden, which is derived from the Irish surname Ó Bradáin. The name traditionally refers to a broad valley or hillside, or alternatively, it stems from the Gaelic word for salmon, a symbol of wisdom in Celtic mythology.
