A drop, small particle, or decorative forehead mark
Derived from the Sanskrit word 'bindu', it refers to the traditional decorative or religious mark worn on the forehead in South Asia. In an Australian context, it is also associated with the Nyungar word for 'butterfly'. It gained international recognition through the Irwin family.
