Baby or child
Derived from the Italian word 'bambina', meaning 'young girl' or 'child'. It became widely recognized in the English-speaking world following the release of Felix Salten's 1923 novel and the subsequent Disney film adaptation. While often associated with the deer character, it remains a diminutive of Italian origin.
