Elf ruler
A French-derived feminine form of Aubrey, which stems from the Germanic name Alberic. It combines the elements 'alf', meaning elf or supernatural being, and 'ric', meaning power or ruler. While once a common masculine name in the Middle Ages, it is now predominantly used for girls in the United States.
