Lion of God or noble ruler
Arik is primarily used as a Hebrew diminutive of Ariel, meaning 'lion of God.' In Germanic contexts, it is also considered a variation of Eric, derived from the Old Norse name Eiríkr, meaning 'eternal ruler' or 'ever powerful.' It offers a modern, streamlined alternative to its more traditional counterparts.
