Grace or pure
Annissa is a variant of Anissa, which is often considered an Arabic elaboration of Anna, meaning 'grace'. It is also frequently associated with the Greek name Agnes, meaning 'pure' or 'chaste'. In many cultures, it serves as a modern, rhythmic alternative to more traditional forms of Anne.
