Grace or favor
Anelia is a Bulgarian and Slavic diminutive form of Angela, ultimately derived from the Greek word 'angelos' meaning messenger. It is also frequently associated with the name Anna, which comes from the Hebrew 'Channah' meaning grace. This rare name offers a softer, more melodic alternative to the more common Amelia or Angela.
