Answered by God; flower or perfume
Anahi is primarily of Spanish and Tupi-Guarani origin. In South American folklore, it is associated with a Guarani princess who was transformed into the flower of the ceibo tree. It is also frequently interpreted as a Spanish variant of the Hebrew name Ana, meaning 'grace' or 'answered by God'.
