Noble or of noble kind
Alissa is a variant of Alice, which ultimately derives from the Germanic name Adalheidis. It is also frequently associated with the alyssum flower, which was historically believed to cure madness. In modern usage, it serves as a softer, more lyrical alternative to the classic Alice or the popular Alyssa.
