Defender of mankind
Alexiya is a modern variant of Alexia, which is the feminine form of Alexis. It ultimately derives from the Greek word 'alexein', meaning to help or defend. While the 'y' spelling adds a contemporary flair, it retains the strong, protective roots of its classical ancestors.
