Alecea is a modern phonetic variant of Alicia or Alice. It ultimately derives from the Germanic name Adalheidis, composed of the elements 'adal' meaning noble and 'heid' meaning type or sort. While rare, it offers a contemporary spelling of a deeply traditional name.
