Joyful, noble, or God is my help
Alaiza is a modern name with multiple possible etymological paths. It is often used as a creative variant of Aliza, a Hebrew name meaning joyful, or as a phonetic variation of Eliza, which is a diminutive of Elizabeth meaning 'God is my oath'. In some contexts, it is also associated with the Germanic root 'adal', meaning noble.
