Heel or supplanter
Akeiba is a rare feminine variant of the Hebrew name Akiva, which shares the same etymological root as Jacob. It refers to the biblical story of Jacob holding his twin brother's heel at birth, later interpreted as 'one who follows' or 'supplanting'.
