Airiel is a rare phonetic spelling variant of the Hebrew name Ariel. In the Hebrew Bible, it is used as a name for Jerusalem and as a symbolic name for the altar of the Temple. While the 'Air-' prefix gives it a modern, ethereal feel, its roots are deeply ancient and spiritual.
