Adrina is a feminine form of Adrian, ultimately derived from the Latin 'Hadrianus', meaning 'from Hadria'. Hadria was a town in northern Italy that gave its name to the Adriatic Sea. It is also sometimes associated with the Greek word for 'dark' or 'rich'.
