Adria is a feminine form of Adrian, derived from the Latin 'Hadrianus'. It originally denoted someone from the town of Hadria in Northern Italy, which also gave its name to the Adriatic Sea. While less common than Adriana, it offers a sleeker, more modern alternative with ancient roots.
