Little fire; or a variant of Aidan
Adien is primarily a modern spelling variant of the Irish name Aidan, which is derived from the Old Irish name Aodhán. It means 'little fire' and was originally a diminutive of Aodh, the name of the Celtic god of fire. While less common than other spellings, it retains the same spirited and energetic roots.
