River of woe
In Greek mythology, Acheron is the name of one of the five rivers of the Underworld, often referred to as the river of pain or woe. It is the river across which Charon ferried the souls of the newly deceased. As a given name, it is a rare, atmospheric choice with deep roots in classical literature and myth.
